Stunning Botleys Mansion wedding – amazing vintage wedding flowers
This Botleys Mansion wedding is my favourite to date of all the numerous Botleys Mansion wedding flowers we have arranged at Botleys. The wedding was featured in Under The Vintage Veil and all the beautiful photography from Kerry Ann Duffy Photography can be seen there in all of its glory.
For Jodies bouquet we used amazingly multi-layered Columbian O’Hara roses. These White O’Hara are a gorgeous ivory with a hint of blush pink. The Pink O’Hara roses are a soft mellow pink. Aside from their unforgetable scent, the O’Hara roses, open up to huge blooms, the closest look to paeonies if the paonies season is over. The bridesmaids bouquets weere a mix of ivory and soft pink roses.
The Botleys Mansion wedding flowers for today were designed to really suit Jodie’s personality and the sparkly venue. A lover of all things vintage but also a bit of a magpie like myself, Jodie was drawn to all things shiny. So what better thing to have than lavish gunmetal silver candelabras with vintage style blooms… Our stylish candelabras were dressed with opulent vintage displays of hydrangeas, many rose varieties, scented stocks and coral fern. We added a bit of contrast with a few bright pinks, to make it stand out against the light background. To mirror the Botleys Mansion overhead ceiling chandeliers dripping with crystals, we hung our luxurious crystal strands from the candelabra arms. A touch of crystal sparkle hanging lavishly from the candelabras looked really stunning, especially since the sun was shinning for Jodie and Andy, and the gorgeous Atrium at Botleys Mansion was flooded in sunlight. I imagine that when the lights are dimmed and the candles are on, these will look equally stunning.
