A pretty spring wedding at Farnham Castle
This pretty Italian themed wedding at Farnham Castle was just adorable and I just loved the photos from Irina Photography that so beautifully captured the essence of this wedding, simply dreamy! The sage green silvery tone of olive foliage, that to me, is so symbolic of all things Italian, was the inspiration for the lovely bridesmaids dresses and in turn kick started the whole theme and set the mood for the wedding flowers at this wedding,
Kathryn was keen to keep to light and airy white and ivory shades with pale sage silvery green foliage throughout her florals and venue styling. We dressed the ceremony room with tall dramatic vases of white delphiniums spires and pretty chair end posies, and flowers in the windowsills. The steps outside and the terrace garden area were stymied for the occasion, with olive and eucalyptus foliage garlands, a vintage bike and olive trees. SOOO pretty! Back inside, in the Great Hall, the tall vase displays from the Lantern Hall, were reused as guest table centrepieces, to echo the tamazingly high ceiling which makes the room look best with tall displays. To mix things up for a more relaxed vibe, some of the guest tables were dresses with opulent antique gold rose bowls overspilling with flowers, and the top table was dressed with the bridesmaids bouquets and trailing foliage garlands.
